About My Aga

My Aga is actually my partners Aga.

It was bought and installed at the same time the house was built in the 1960's by his Grandparents and has been a member of the family ever since with his Mum living in this house and using it, and now us.

It is a converted solid fuel to oil Aga in a beautiful cream enamel with many signs of love (it's a bit bashed!)

It has its quirks; when it's windy the temperature drops, the thermometer on the front bears no relation to the actual temperature and the simmer plate gives the boil plate a run for its money, but all in all we love it and it seems to love us too.
